Description
The Chicago Community Trust’s Sponsorships program supports programming events that strengthen economic mobility, increase opportunity and well-being, and address critical community needs. The Trust dedicates part of its discretionary grantmaking budget to events that help organizations raise funds, implement programs, and build communities. Its priorities respond to persistent disparities in income, education, access to capital, housing, and neighborhood conditions.
Supported events highlight solutions and partnerships related to income growth, workforce development, entrepreneurship, homeownership, and financial well-being. The program also seeks to elevate resident perspectives from underinvested communities and encourage collaboration among nonprofit, civic, philanthropic, business, and community leaders. Programming can increase awareness, mobilize resources, and catalyze action around pressing challenges affecting vulnerable residents in Chicago and Cook County.
