Description
Spring Grants are administered by the Community Foundation of Greater Lafayette as part of its Community Grants program. They support local nonprofit organizations through strategic funding for capital projects. Eligible capital items can include furniture, HVAC units, and computers. The Spring cycle focuses on capital needs rather than new-program or start-up expenses, which are considered through the separate NOW grant cycle.
The Foundation evaluates proposals for their potential impact on Greater Lafayette, the community needs they address, and the organization’s ability to sustain the project. Its six grant impact areas are Arts and Humanities, Education, Environment and Animals, Health, Human Services, and Public Society/Benefit. Partnerships with other organizations to fund a project also inform review.
