The Seismological Society of America (SSA) offers Annual Meeting Travel Grants to help participants attend its annual gathering, share research, and build connections within the seismology community. These awards support meeting participation rather than directly funding research projects, providing complimentary registration and assistance with lodging, meals, and travel accommodations.
For the 2027 meeting, SSA offers five grant categories covering student, early-career, international, European, and domestic regular-member participation. Eligible session conveners can also apply in recognition of their role in organizing meeting sessions. The ESC/SSA category operates through a cooperative agreement with the European Seismological Commission.
