Description
This program funds innovative, high-impact research projects in gastrointestinal surgery that enhance global collaboration and advance the mission of the Society for Surgery of the Alimentary Tract (SSAT). The grant encourages new clinical, quality improvement, educational, or translational research, particularly those that foster relationships between SSAT international chapters and U.S. centers. Awardees are expected to present at Digestive Disease Week (DDW) and submit a manuscript to the Journal of Gastrointestinal Surgery.
