Description
This award provides a one-year research fellowship for a resident or fellow member of the Society for Surgery of the Alimentary Tract (SSAT). The purpose is to support research—clinical, translational, outcomes, health services, or basic science—conducted within the research program of an SSAT member. Recipients are expected to dedicate at least one full year to research, present a final report at the SSAT Annual Meeting, and are encouraged to submit resulting abstracts and manuscripts to SSAT-affiliated venues.
