Description
The New Jersey Department of Health’s HIV Services Unit administers this program to support innovative approaches to HIV prevention and diagnosis with linkage to care. Its goals are to reduce new HIV infections and improve health outcomes for people at risk of contracting HIV.
The program emphasizes comprehensive, whole-person approaches rather than isolated services. Supported work includes status-neutral services, HIV testing, linkage to care, PrEP initiation, and expansion of other scientifically proven, cost-effective interventions.
