Description
The New Jersey Department of Health’s SSUS State Opioid program funds direct services in core harm reduction, harm reduction health, and overdose prevention and response innovation. It also supports planning for capital improvements connected to those services.
The program serves clients whose injection drug use makes them vulnerable to HIV and sexually transmitted disease transmission. It is intended to sustain harm reduction and overdose prevention services at syringe access locations, harm reduction centers, and county health departments.
