Projects may be laboratory, clinical, or epidemiological in nature, with direct applicability and relevance to pediatric cancer. The Research Grant is part of the Foundation's Spring funding cycle, with awards based on scientific review and available funds.

The Foundation supports research into childhood cancer biology and more effective treatments. Topics of interest include adolescents and young adults, survivorship and quality of life, supportive care, epidemiology and pediatric cancer predispositions, precision medicine, and alternative or complementary therapies. Beginning with the 2027 cycle, Research Grant LOIs undergo review for mission alignment, scientific merit, and innovation. Only selected applicants may submit full proposals.
