Description
The BrightFocus Foundation’s Standard Awards, under its Alzheimer’s Disease Research initiative, fund pioneering, high-risk, high-reward projects that aim to significantly advance the understanding, prevention, or treatment of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias (ADRD). The program is structured into two tracks—Early Career Investigator and Independent Investigator—each designed to encourage creativity, bold approaches, and cross-disciplinary research, including proposals from those outside the traditional Alzheimer’s research field. The Foundation emphasizes diversity and inclusivity, actively encouraging applications from researchers from underrepresented backgrounds.
