Description
The California Breast Cancer Research Program (CBCRP), administered by the University of California, supports conferences, symposia, retreats, webinars and other gatherings that inform and foster breast cancer research. Events may be in person, virtual or hybrid. They must address at least one CBCRP priority issue and advance a program goal, such as encouraging collaboration, addressing disparities, informing policy or developing public education tools.
The Standard Conference Award is for applicants able to host an event meeting the program’s criteria. The Community-Led Conference Award supports grassroots organizations that need more time or resources to develop and carry out an event. It has the same event requirements, but begins with a letter of intent (LOI) so organizers can receive council feedback before applying.
