Description
This internal Stanford University seed grant program aims to catalyze innovative and multidisciplinary research to advance the understanding, diagnosis, and treatment of pediatric inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and celiac disease. The program is intended to support early-stage, high-risk, and high-reward projects that are not yet eligible for larger government funding. This year, there is a particular emphasis on projects focused on celiac disease, welcoming diverse scientific approaches from basic, translational, clinical, and computational research. Collaborative proposals, especially those bridging disciplines (e.g., basic/data scientists with physician scientists), are strongly encouraged.
