The Stanley B. Farbstein Endowment is an annual, invitation-only competitive grant program administered by the Coastal Community Foundation of South Carolina. Established in 2014 to honor Stanley B. Farbstein’s legacy, the program supports initiatives that preserve Jewish life, identity, culture, and education, with a particular emphasis on Beaufort, Berkeley, Charleston, and Dorchester counties. The grant also supports STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) programming for children and young adults in these regions. Since 2015, the endowment has invested over $500,000 in local organizations.
