Description
The Stanley C. Israel Regional Award honors individuals or institutions that have made significant contributions to advancing inclusion and belonging in the chemical sciences within their ACS region. The award supports efforts that increase participation from diverse and historically marginalized groups, including persons with disabilities and women, through the creation and support of ongoing programs or initiatives. Recipients receive both a monetary grant and travel reimbursement to attend the ACS regional meeting where the award is presented.
