The Start Package Grant aims to strengthen the ability of Danish universities and research institutions to recruit outstanding researchers from Denmark or abroad, enhancing research excellence and mobility. The grant supports the recruitment of candidates to tenure-track assistant professor, time-unlimited associate or full professor, or clinical/clinical chair professor positions. Funding is intended to help the host institution establish an independent research group for the newly hired candidate, focusing on fields aligned with the Novo Nordisk Foundation’s 2030 Strategy, including medical sciences, life sciences, sustainability, and natural and technical sciences.
