Description
This grant is designed to support researchers of any nationality who have gained significant experience abroad and wish to establish their own research laboratory in Italy, focusing on cancer research. The program aims to facilitate the return of talented scientists to Italy, fostering innovation and leadership in cancer research. Selected projects are funded for five years and must demonstrate scientific excellence, innovation, feasibility, and the potential for independent research leadership. Funding covers research costs, salaries for two dedicated staff members, and the salary of the lead researcher to ease their transition back to Italy.
