Description
This scheme provides early-career clinical lecturers in the UK with up to £40,000 over 1–2 years to support the initiation of independent research projects. Funded by the British Heart Foundation in partnership with other major medical research organizations and administered by the Academy of Medical Sciences, the grant is designed to help clinical lecturers collect preliminary data and strengthen their applications for longer-term fellowships. Awardees also gain access to mentoring and professional development resources through the Academy of Medical Sciences.
