The program provides modest operating support (up to $2,500) and a comprehensive training and consulting experience in partnership with the Delaware Alliance for Nonprofit Advancement (DANA). Participating organizations work with a licensed consultant to assess organizational needs and receive tailored training in nonprofit best practices, including governance, finance, fundraising, public engagement, and legal compliance. Successful completion of the StartUp Program is required before organizations can apply for the Division’s General Operating Support or other major grant programs.
