Description
The Wyoming Department of Workforce Services (DWS) administers SAEF Round 3 with funding from the U.S. Department of Labor. It helps Wyoming businesses develop or expand Registered Apprenticeship Programs and build pre-apprenticeship pathways that prepare people to enter those programs. DWS also offers technical and financial support for customized apprenticeship opportunities.
The Sponsor Incentive targets apprenticeship growth in construction, finance and insurance, healthcare and social assistance, manufacturing, technology, and hospitality and tourism. The Pre-Apprenticeship Incentive supports programs that combine training and hands-on experience with routes into registered apprenticeships, including opportunities for people facing significant barriers to employment.
