Description
The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) offers a suite of state assistance programs to promote sustainable waste management practices, including waste reduction, recycling, and household hazardous waste (HHW) management. Funding supports a range of projects such as recycling capital improvements, public education and outreach, HHW collection and disposal, landfill closure, and landfill gas management.
