    Description

The Celebrating Ohio Book Awards & Authors (COBAA) grant is a competitive Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) program administered by the State Library of Ohio. Established in 2016, it supports collection development and collection-related initiatives that connect Ohio readers with Ohio authors and books recognized by Ohio-based book award programs. Its central purpose is to expand library collections and support literacy.

The program considers how selected books will benefit a library’s intended audience, what impacts or changes the project should produce, and how the library will measure those outcomes. Applicants also describe how they will promote the purchased materials, including any planned programming or displays. Eligible titles include books for all ages, and the selection is not limited to Ohio authors.
