Description
The State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program (SLCGP) supports cybersecurity practices and resilience in state, local, and territorial governments. Rhode Island Emergency Management Agency (RIEMA) presents the FY 2024 program in Rhode Island. Funded through the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, also known as the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, SLCGP enables FEMA and the Department of Homeland Security to make targeted cybersecurity investments in government agencies.
The program focuses on managing shared, systemic cyber risks rather than treating cybersecurity as a concern of any single agency. Its investments are intended to improve critical infrastructure security and the resilience of services governments provide to their communities.
