Description
The State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program (SLCGP) supports targeted investments to strengthen cybersecurity practices and resilience in state, local, and territorial governments. Presented in Rhode Island by the Rhode Island Emergency Management Agency (RIEMA), the FY 2024 program focuses on managing and reducing systemic cyber risks. Its goals connect stronger government cybersecurity with improved critical infrastructure security and more resilient services for communities.
Funding comes from the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, also known as the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. Through this law, FEMA and the Department of Homeland Security support cybersecurity investments in government agencies.
