Description
The Homeland Security Grant Program (HSGP) provides federal funds to strengthen Nevada’s ability to prevent, prepare for, protect against, and respond to acts of terrorism and other catastrophic events. Administered by the Nevada Division of Emergency Management (DEM), the program supports investments in planning, organization, equipment, training, and exercises that address capability gaps identified by state and local agencies. For FY2025, the State Homeland Security Program (SHSP) is the primary vehicle for Nevada, with a focus on risk-driven, capabilities-based strategies to meet both state and national preparedness priorities.
