Description
The State Revolving Fund Program (SRF), administered by the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC), supports cities, counties, utility districts, and water authorities by offering technical assistance and low-interest loans for critical drinking water and wastewater infrastructure projects. The program encompasses both the Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) and the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF), enabling communities to plan, design, and construct projects that improve water quality, system resilience, and public health across Tennessee. Funding is prioritized based on a ranking system, with special consideration for small and economically disadvantaged communities, which may qualify for principal forgiveness.
