Description
The State Trade Expansion Program (STEP) provides financial assistance to eligible Vermont small businesses aiming to initiate or expand international export activities. Funded by the U.S. Small Business Administration and administered by the Vermont Agency of Commerce and Community Development, STEP reimburses up to 75% of approved export-related expenses. The program’s goal is to increase the number of Vermont exporters, boost export sales, and promote job creation by supporting trade shows, missions, market research, e-commerce, compliance certifications, and export education.
