Description
The State Trails: Recreational Trails Program is administered by the North Carolina Department of Natural & Cultural Resources, Division of Parks and Recreation. Funded by federal gas taxes on off-highway vehicles, this $1.5 million annual program addresses the recreational trail needs identified in the Statewide Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan (SCORP).
