Description
This opportunity supports initiatives to improve the health of pregnant and postpartum women and their newborns through quality improvement (QI) efforts in perinatal care. The program is structured in two components:
- Component A: Supports state-based Perinatal Quality Collaboratives (PQCs) that drive QI initiatives in health facilities, focusing on strengthening PQC capacity, implementing data-driven QI projects, building robust data systems, and enhancing partnerships for better coordination of perinatal QI activities.
- Component B: Funds an organization to serve as the national coordinating center for the National Network of PQCs (NNPQC), providing technical assistance, facilitating collaboration, and disseminating best practices and resources among PQCs and partners nationwide.
