The Stay Connected Bursary supports Biochemical Society members on career breaks or returning to work to attend Society-run scientific meetings, training events, and courses, helping them stay engaged with the biochemistry community.

Due Dates: Early-bird registration/abstract deadline for the event | Or one month before event start (if no early-bird deadline)
Funding Amounts: Covers registration for Society events; support for travel/accommodation may be included; max £2,000 across 3 years per applicant (Society-wide grants).

Description
This bursary program is intended to help Biochemical Society members remain engaged with the scientific community during periods of career break or after returning to work. The bursary covers registration costs for face-to-face and online Society scientific meetings, training events, and courses. Financial support towards accommodation and travel may also be considered, subject to available funds. The aim is to ensure members can stay up-to-date with scientific developments and maintain professional networks.
