The Stead Family Scholars Program is designed to recognize and support exceptional early-career faculty at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine who are emerging as internationally recognized leaders in research. The program provides substantial financial resources to pursue innovative and unexplored research ideas with the potential for significant discoveries. In addition to funding, recipients receive leadership and communication training and are given opportunities to present their work and maintain the Stead Family Innovation Scholar title as long as they continue to achieve research success at the University of Iowa.
