Description
This initiative seeks to broaden participation in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) by supporting projects that improve access, equity, and inclusion for persons with disabilities across all STEM fields. The program welcomes both conference proposals and supplemental funding requests that address barriers, develop strategies, or create infrastructure to enhance the engagement of researchers, trainees, and students with disabilities. Projects may include assessing participation barriers, piloting inclusive practices, supporting technology and accessibility modifications, and developing evidence-based mentoring or research activities.
