STEM Community Impact Sponsorships support Utah organizations’ out-of-school STEM programs and events for students and communities, expanding participation and helping new programs get started.

Funding Amounts: Up to $5,000 per sponsorship

Key Information: Activities must take place in Utah and provide STEM learning outside the regular school day.
Description
The Utah Department of Cultural and Community Engagement’s STEM Action Center sponsors organizations that expand opportunities for students and community members to participate in STEM across Utah. The program supports learning outside the regular school day, including after-school clubs, summer programs, community events, and consistent programming.
The sponsorship aims to broaden community impact, increase student resources, encourage involvement in STEM activities, and help new programs get started. Organizations that operate and host statewide robotics competitions may apply. Individual robotics teams are eligible only if they meet the program’s after-school, noncompeting exception.
