The program offers a unique four-week, immersive research fellowship for early-career AO Trauma members from Europe, Southern Africa, the Middle East, and Northern Africa. Fellows spend two weeks at a leading European research center (Berlin, Zurich, or Leeds) and two weeks at the AO Research Institute Davos in Switzerland. The fellowship focuses on hands-on experience in trauma and musculoskeletal research, mentorship, and the development of a translational research proposal. Fellows present their proposals to expert teams, gaining critical feedback and advancing their research skills and professional networks. The program is designed to deepen understanding of trauma care, biomechanics, and musculoskeletal regeneration.
