    Description

The Steuben County REMC Operation Round Up fund is administered by the Steuben County Community Foundation (SCCF). Created to support economic development and growth projects in the community, it has also supported philanthropic organizations doing good for REMC members and the wider community. Projects and programs must improve quality of life in Steuben County.

The fund sits within SCCF’s broader commitment to supporting nonprofit work that creates “brighter tomorrows.” SCCF emphasizes long-term solutions to community needs, with special consideration for collaborative projects and work addressing root causes. Projects should fit the applicant’s mission and strategic plan and have demonstrated board support. Volunteer committees review proposals and make recommendations, while the SCCF Board of Directors makes final grant decisions.
