Description
The STFM Medical Editing Fellowship provides a unique, yearlong, part-time opportunity for one early- or mid-career faculty member to work closely with the editorial and publishing teams at the journal Family Medicine, published by the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine (STFM). The fellowship is conducted virtually and is designed to enhance participants' skills in medical editing, writing, peer review, and ethical standards in scientific publishing. Fellows receive mentorship from experienced editors and participate in all aspects of the editorial process, including manuscript evaluation, editorial decision-making, and content selection. The program is aimed at supporting career development in academic publishing within family medicine.
