Description
The STFM Medical Editing Fellowship is a yearlong, part-time, virtual program designed to immerse one early or mid-career faculty member annually in the editorial and publishing process at Family Medicine, the flagship journal of the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine (STFM). Fellows receive direct mentoring from the editor-in-chief, participate in regular editorial meetings, and gain hands-on experience in manuscript review, peer review, and scientific editing. The fellowship emphasizes developing skills in scientific writing, understanding the ethical standards of publishing, and engaging with the broader academic publishing community.
