Description
The STFM Medical Editing Fellowship is a yearlong, part-time, virtual professional development program designed for early- or mid-career faculty in family medicine. Fellows work closely with the editorial and publishing teams at Family Medicine, the flagship journal of the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine (STFM). The fellowship emphasizes hands-on experience in scientific writing, peer review, and editorial decision-making. Participants receive mentorship from the editor-in-chief, engage in regular editorial meetings, assist with manuscript review and selection, and gain insights into the ethics and processes of medical journal publishing.
