Description
The STFM Project Fund supports the planning, development, implementation, evaluation, and dissemination of education-related scholarly projects. Funded through the STFM Foundation and coordinated by its Executive Committee, the program encourages STFM Collaboratives and Special Project Teams to produce work that benefits STFM members, the organization, and the discipline of family medicine. It also gives students, residents, and new faculty meaningful opportunities to participate in scholarship and become involved with STFM.
The fund prioritizes innovative projects that add new knowledge or advance existing knowledge, align with STFM’s strategic plan, and support the sponsoring group’s goals. Projects should produce measurable outcomes and useful results or products, use valid and reliable evaluation methods, and have clear dissemination plans and potential to continue beyond initial funding.
