Description
The Daimler and Benz Foundation’s scholarship program supports researchers who have earned a doctorate and established some research autonomy but do not yet hold a permanent position. It aims to strengthen the independence and creativity of the next generation of academics by giving them flexible support for their own projects.
The program has no thematic restrictions. It welcomes work in the humanities, social and cultural sciences, natural and engineering sciences, medicine, and life sciences. A project may be new or extend existing research. The Foundation particularly welcomes applications from the humanities, social and cultural sciences, which have been underrepresented among applicants.
