Description
The Daimler and Benz Foundation’s Postdoctoral Fellowship Program supports early-career researchers who have developed recognizable research independence but do not yet hold a permanent position. It aims to strengthen the autonomy and creativity of the next generation of scientists and scholars and support their academic careers after the doctorate.
The program funds researchers’ own projects without thematic restrictions. It is open across the humanities, social and cultural sciences, natural and formal sciences, engineering, medicine, and life sciences. Fellowships are awarded to selected junior professors and postdoctoral researchers in leadership roles, with funding available over two years.
