Description
The Utah Office for Victims of Crime (UOVC) administers this federal STOP Violence Against Women Act formula grant in Utah. The program supports coordinated, victim-centered responses that increase survivor safety, strengthen services, and hold offenders accountable. It brings together victim service organizations, law enforcement, prosecutors, and courts to address domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, stalking, and female genital mutilation.
Funding can support direct services and legal assistance, professional and forensic examiner training, specialized justice-system units, improved investigation and evidence collection, and sexual assault response teams.
