Description
The Association of Academic Radiology Research and Education Foundation’s Strategic Alignment Grant supports one-year projects addressing AAR’s long-range organizational goals. Proposals aligned with any AAR strategic priority are encouraged. The 2027 focus areas include preparing academic radiologists, educators, and trainees for responsible integration of artificial intelligence into education, research, and clinical practice, and developing a diverse, thriving workforce through mentorship, leadership development, and career advancement.
The program also supports innovative educational models and evidence-based approaches that improve teaching excellence, learner outcomes, and educator development. Collaborative initiatives may strengthen multicenter research, health services research, implementation science, and quality improvement. Grantees must present their work at the AAR Annual Meeting.
