Description
This funding opportunity enables UK research organisations to acquire or support strategic research infrastructure—such as major equipment or resources—that advances scientific capability in alignment with the priorities of the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC). The scheme is designed to fund infrastructure that is of high strategic importance to both the applying institution and the broader UK research landscape, supporting transformative research, expanding research capacity, and enabling access to advanced technologies. There are two main routes: (1) purchasing and setting up new strategic infrastructure, and (2) supporting the use and sustainability of existing infrastructure.
