Description
The AASLD Foundation’s Stravitz Visionary Award supports highly innovative, project-based research by early- to mid-career investigators. It funds basic, translational, and clinical studies with the potential for broad and sustained impact in hepatology, giving priority to work that could transform care for patients with liver disease. This is an independent research award, not a mentored award.
Multidisciplinary science is encouraged, and proposals involving multiple principal investigators or multiple institutions will be considered. Selection priorities include innovative or transformative projects with human applications and multidisciplinary projects. The 2027 award is supported through the R. Todd Stravitz AASLD Foundation Research Fund and provides three years of research support.
