The STRIDE Mentored Research Scholarship, offered by the American Occupational Therapy Foundation (AOTF), is designed to support occupational therapy (OT) graduates and clinicians from underrepresented backgrounds, individuals with disabilities, and those from underresourced backgrounds. The program provides up to $10,000 to enable recipients to engage in a mentored research experience at a U.S. non-profit institution, guided by an established scientist. The experience is tailored through an individualized development plan and includes regular mentorship meetings, lab participation, and targeted research training. Recipients are expected to present their research experience at an AOTF event during the AOTA INSPIRE Conference.
