Description
The North Dakota NASA Space Grant Consortium (NDSGC) runs this flexible fellowship for students entering an advanced degree program after earning a two- or four-year undergraduate degree. It introduces students, particularly those with little or no prior research experience, to research in their new academic setting.
Students work with a research mentor to shape an entry-level project and agree on its length and weekly hours. Projects may address STEM, STEM education, or NASA-relevant research, and must take place outside regular coursework. The fellowship is intended to make a first hands-on research experience rewarding and effective.
