This grant provides funding to active ASBMB Student Chapters to increase their involvement in science outreach activities. The program encourages proposals for in-person, hybrid, or virtual outreach initiatives that are creative, accessible, and have a broad community impact. Projects should extend beyond campus, address a scientific need, and demonstrate feasibility, sustainability, and impact assessment. Funded activities may include hands-on science events in local schools, science festivals, demonstrations, podcasts, or other innovative outreach formats. Awardees are expected to report on their activities and share outcomes with the broader ASBMB community.
