    Description

The Student Conference Award (SCA), offered by the National Hearing Conservation Association Scholarship Foundation, supports graduate students attending NHCA’s annual conference. Rather than funding a research project, it helps students participate through paid student membership, conference registration, and reimbursement of conference travel expenses. A limited number of awards are available, supported by donations from NHCA members and other sponsors.

The program reflects NHCA’s interest in leadership development and hearing loss prevention. It seeks students with a sincere interest in the association and a passion for hearing conservation. Selection considers applicants’ potential for future contributions to the field, academic rigor, and other accomplishments. Relevant participation in community and campus projects, research, or special programs may also inform the committee’s assessment.
