Description
The North Dakota NASA Space Grant Consortium (NDSGC) offers competitive research fellowships to undergraduate and graduate students at its affiliate colleges and universities. Fellows work under a faculty mentor on STEM-, STEM education-, or NASA-relevant research. Projects must be separate from coursework, giving students dedicated time for research outside their classes.
The program supports a broad range of subjects rather than a single research topic. Past fellows have worked in atmospheric science, biology, engineering, mathematics, physics, and space studies, including projects on space weather, spacecraft structures, planetary habitats, and satellite imagery. Applicants propose either 10 or 15 hours of research per week for a one-semester fellowship.
