The Society for Integrative and Comparative Biology (SICB) offers annual awards to support graduate student research and travel through two main programs: the Grants-in-Aid of Research (GIAR) and the Fellowship of Graduate Student Travel (FGST). These awards are overseen by the SICB Student Support Committee and are intended to advance the research activities of graduate student members in integrative and comparative biology. Top applicants may be honored with special named awards that commemorate influential SICB members.
