Description
The Student Research Forum is offered by the American Academy of Audiology Foundation (AAAF), with sponsorship from Plural Publishing. It supports graduate students in audiology and recent audiology graduates in sharing original research conducted during graduate study at the American Academy of Audiology’s annual conference. The award supports presentation of research rather than undertaking a new research project.
Four presenters are selected annually to summarize their findings and answer audience questions. The conference encourages basic science, translational, and clinical research in audiology, neurotology, and hearing and balance science. Its priorities include innovative research, advancing scientific knowledge, sharing findings that improve patient care, and bringing new ideas into audiology practice.
