Description
This award supports departments or divisions of oral and maxillofacial surgery within CODA-accredited dental schools or teaching hospitals to provide research opportunities for dental students. The primary aim is to attract outstanding health profession students to the field, foster interest in oral and maxillofacial surgery research, and enhance the pipeline of investigators and practitioners dedicated to advancing this specialty. The grant funds institutions to facilitate mentored research experiences for up to five student trainees, helping to cultivate the next generation of researchers and clinicians in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
