Description
The Student Transportation Subsidy for Meetings, offered by the Acoustical Society of America (ASA), provides limited financial assistance to students to help offset transportation costs associated with attending ASA meetings. This program is designed to encourage student participation—especially for those presenting research—by offering partial reimbursement of transportation expenses. Priority is given to students presenting papers and to those proposing to travel as a group using economical ground transportation, but all student attendees are eligible. The subsidy strictly covers transportation costs and does not provide funds for food or housing.
