Description
The Rural Sociological Society (RSS), in partnership with its Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) Committee, offers competitive Student Travel Grants to support graduate and undergraduate students at the RSS Annual Meeting. The grants help offset the costs of attending the conference and participating in the Society’s annual gathering.
The program centers on active conference participation, including presenting a paper or poster or participating in a panel or workshop. It supports students pursuing degrees relevant to rural studies who are current RSS members. This is travel assistance for participation in the Annual Meeting, rather than funding for a separate research project or independent program of work.
