Description
The Study of Collections Fellowships, offered by the American Society of Overseas Research (ASOR), are designed to support scholarly research involving significant museum, archival, or national authority collections. The fellowships primarily fund travel and per diem expenses to enable scholars to access and study collections relevant to their research in the fields of the Near East and wider Mediterranean. Other direct research costs may be covered, but may not exceed one-third of the fellowship amount. These awards aim to foster new insights and research advancements by encouraging direct scholarly engagement with important collections.
